Carbon Efficient

Having taken over the hosting for Ele Global we were asked to produce a proposal for a new website with the critical factors that it needed to be easily upgraded in-house and be much more carbon efficient.
As we were already on 100% renewable energy hosting we were off to a good start. Our research showed that the present web platform was very carbon in-efficent and so we proposed a much leaner system as part of our rebuild.
During the planning stage we also took into consideration page load speeds and factors that may slow this down again keeping carbon efficiency and green credentials firmly in mind through out the process.

We worked closely with Ele Global making sure we aligned our designs to their new brand colour palette, fonts and other media.
The end design helps to segment each area of the website cleanly with the use of just 4 main colours whilst utilising the brand fonts to help showcase and highligh key information.
We have also achieved a carbon rating of B with the website being cleaner than 66 % of all web pages globally.
